How to start the car engine using the remote key start function:

1. Aim the car remote control key at the vehicle;

2. Press and send the lock key;

3. Immediately after completing step 2, press and hold the remote start button for at least 4 seconds, or until the position light flashes.

The position light flashes to confirm that a request to remotely start the vehicle has been received. The engine will run for 15 minutes.

So how do you extend engine running time?

The engine will automatically shut down after running for 15 minutes. Repeat steps 1-3, and the engine can start and run for another 15 minutes. If you need to extend the run time while the engine is still running, repeat steps 1-3 for the first 15 minutes and the engine will run for an additional 15 minutes after operation.

NOTE: Remote start can only be extended once.

Up to two remote starts or one extended remote start can be performed between ignition cycles.
