Tips
1. This is a complete flip remote key for Nissan Sentra / Altima / Maxima.
2. To replace the smart key battery, you only need the following 3 steps:
The first step: To remove the mechanical key. Press and hold the lock on the side of the smart key to remove the mechanical key.
The second step: To open the battery cover. After removing the mechanical key, you can see that there is a deep groove and a shallow groove on the top of the smart key. The deep groove is the keyhole, and the shallow groove is used to open the battery cover. Insert the mechanical key into the shallow groove and push it out to open the battery cover. After opening, you can see the button battery. Just click it and the battery will come out.
The third step: To replace the battery with a new one. Replace the new battery, install the battery cover and mechanical key in sequence, and the key battery replacement is completed.
3. Brake pad wear warning The disc brake pads have audible wear warnings. When a brake pad requires replacement, it will make a high pitched scraping sound when the vehicle is in motion. This scraping sound will first occur only when the brake pedal is depressed. After more wear of the brake pad, the sound will always be heard even if the brake pedal is not depressed. Have the brakes checked as soon as possible if the warning sound is heard.
4. Check tire pressure warning This warning appears when the low tire pressure warning light in the meter illuminates and low tire pressure is detected. The warning appears each time the ignition switch is placed in the ON position as long as the low tire pressure warning light remains illuminated. If this warning appears, stop the vehicle and adjust the tire pressure to the recommended COLD tire pressure shown on the Tire and Loading Information label.
