Tips
1. This particular product is exclusively a car key shell, which includes the case, pad, and key blade, but does not include the circuit board, chip, and battery.
2. Our business is centered around car key sales, and we do not provide car matching services. So before use, you need to program the key at your local car locksmith.
3. Please make sure that your key corresponds exactly with ours, encompassing the same buttons, frequency, transponder chip, and key blade. Failure to do so will lead to functionality issues. Prior to making a purchase, please perform a thorough comparison.
4. Modern vehicle access systems consist of individually and compatibly programmed radio transmitter keys and receivers. An active button control on the remote control enables a range of comfort functions to be thus activated in the vehicle. The radio remote control signals are sent to the electronic control unit for access and ignition authorisation in the comfort system of the vehicle and are subsequently evaluated. If identification is positive, access to the vehicle is granted and the doors are unlocked.
5. If you're stuck with a dead key fob, you can still unlock your BMW. Just hold and press the key release tab at the bottom of the key fob near the key chain, then simply slide the mechanical key out. And than go to the driver's side door, unlock it like you normally would with a traditional key, the car can start again.
