1. Kia car audio decoding
a. Kia cars use three types of speakers with anti-theft functions: QF7850, QF7851 and MC06;

b. QF7850 audio is optionally installed on different Kia models. The audio password is stored in EPROM. The original chip model is X24C16 and the replacement chip model is AT24C08;

c. The QF7851 audio password is stored in EPROM, its original chip model is 74252, and the replacement chip model is 93C06;

d. The MC06 audio password is stored in the microcontroller ROM, which is the same as the model used in modern cars, and can be decoded according to the audio decoding method of modern cars.

2. Universal decoding method:
a. 860 type speaker
The prevention chip model is 24C01. Replace the chip with the same model and enter the new chip password to decode.

b. ALPINE speakers
The anti-theft chip model is 24C01. Replace the chip with the same model and enter the new chip password to decode.

c. QF7851 type speaker
The original chip model is 74252, and the replacement chip model is 93C46.

d. QF7850 audio system
The original chip model is X24C16, and the replacement chip model is AT24C08.

e. MC06 type speaker
Please refer to the decoding method of modern car series.

3. Here are some situations where your smartphone's digital key may not work:

a. Smartphone battery or vehicle battery is depleted;

b. When the smartphone screen is off or the KIA Connect app is running in the background (depending on the specific model or smartphone manufacturer and operating system type).

c. The smartphone case is made of metal or thick material;

d. When a smartphone and a metal object are placed in the bag at the same time, it will cause interference or connection interruption;

e. Obstacles or human bodies may cause interference;

f. The digital key function of older smartphones may not work properly.
