1. This Nissan smart key includes key shell, circuit board, chip and battery.
2. Before use, you need to program the key at your local car locksmith. Otherwise your key will not work with your car.
3. The steps to replace the battery in Nissan smart key are as follows:
First, take out the mechanical key of the Nissan car remote key, so that you can see the shell buckle of the remote key as shown in the picture.
Next, use a screwdriver to push the buckle of the Nissan car remote key casing to remove the remote key casing.
Then you need to prepare a button battery. Note that the battery must be the same model as the original battery in the remote key.
Next, take out the old button battery of the Nissan car remote key and replace it with the prepared new button battery.
Finally, align the two halves of the Nissan car remote key housing, and gently press down on the two halves of the key.
4. Key reminder chime
A chime will sound if the driver side door is opened while the ignition switch is pushed to the ACC position. Make sure the ignition switch is pushed to the OFF position, and take the Intelligent Key with you when leaving the vehicle.
5. Parking brake reminder chime
The chime will sound if the vehicle is driven at more than 4 MPH (7 km/h) with the parking brake applied. Stop the vehicle and release the parking brake.
